NJR Midstream invests in midstream assets including natural gas storage and transportation pipelines. With customers from local distributors and producers to electric generators and wholesale marketers, its strategically located assets help market participants meet their natural gas storage and transportation needs.

Adelphia Gateway is a midstream pipeline project located in southeastern Pennsylvania. NJR Midstream will convert the lower 50 miles of this existing 84-mile pipeline to natural gas to serve customers in the greater Philadelphia region. The northern 34 miles were previously converted to natural gas and currently serve two gas-fired generation facilities in Lower Mount Bethel Township, PA.

NJR Midstream has a 50 percent equity ownership in Steckman Ridge, a 12 Bcf natural gas storage facility in Bedford County, PA. This facility provides direct access to the Texas Eastern Transmission and Dominion Transmission pipelines, as well as significant natural gas supplies from the East Coast and Rocky Mountains.

Additionally, NJR Midstream owns a 20 percent stake in the PennEast Pipeline. This proposed 120-mile pipeline from northeast Pennsylvania to western New Jersey will provide reliable and affordable natural gas to customers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and support economic development and job creation.

NJR Midstream is continuously evaluating opportunities to expand its services and footprint through independent or joint venture projects and the acquisition and enhancement of existing infrastructure.
