Description

BJ Services is pure-play North American land pressure pumping company formed by Baker Hughes, CSL Capital and West Street Energy Partners. Baker Hughes will be contributing its North American land cementing and hydraulic fracturing businesses, CSL Capital Management will contribute its Allied Energy Services Platform and CSL Capital & West Street will contribute $325 million in cash to the new entity. $175 million of the cash payment will go towards the newly formed BJ Services while the remaining $150 million will go towards Baker Hughes.
