    Shell has reached a deal to divest certain upstream assets in Egypt for $926 million to Cheiron Petroleum Corp & Cairn Energy. The deal included a base payment of $646 million and contingent payments of $280 million based on prices between 2021-2024 The deal will close in the second half of 2021 and covers 13 onshore concessions and Shell's stake in Badr El-Din Petroleum Company.
