Alliant Energy announced plans to acquire and advance 675-MW in new solar generation across rural Wisconsin. The projects are spread across six counties and are part of the firms broader plan to develop 1,000-MW of solar in the state by 2023.

Royal Dutch Shell has acquired a 100% stake in Savion LLC, a large utility-scale solar and energy storage developer, from Macquarie. Savion currently has more than 18 GW in solar and energy storage projects under development and significantly expands Shell's solar portfolio.
