    Diamondback Energy's subsidiary, Rattler Midstream, has signed on to a joint venture with a private affiliate of an investment fund. The joint partners acquired a Midland Basin gas gathering and processing asset from West Texas Gas, with Rattler investing $104 million in cash for a minority stake in the JV. The acquired assets include a gas gathering system and six major gas processing plants in the Midland Basin with 925 Mmcf/d in total processing capacity and future expansions planned.

    Arclight Capital Partners (via Amarillo Midstream) and Rattler Midstream have formed a 50/50 JV dubbed to develop natural gas assets in the Midland Basin. The JV, named Amarillo Rattler, will own and operate the existing Yellow Rose Gas Gathering and Processing System with 40 Mmcf/d in capacity and 84-miles of pipeline.
