Endurance Energy Ltd. is a Calgary, Alberta-based early-stage exploration and production company formed in 2008 focused on the acquisition and development of natural gas assets in Canada. The company’s strategy is to utilize advanced drilling and completion technologies in previously under-exploited natural gas plays in Alberta and British Columbia. Warburg Pincus led the recapitalization of, and extended a line of equity to, Endurance in February 2012. In June 2013, Warburg Pincus increased its commitment to the company in connection with the completion of a large asset acquisition.
