Carrera (formerly known as Limestone Exploration II) is a privately held, Midland, Texas-based oil and gas company focused on acquiring and developing acreage in the Anadarko Basin of Oklahoma and the Permian Basin. Carrera is managed by a multidisciplinary team that has worked together in the past and has extensive industry experience. EnCap initially partnered with the team in Limestone Exploration, which was sold to an undisclosed buyer in 2010.
