Description
The Magic Valley Generating Station is a natural gas-fired, combined-cycle generating facility located on an approximately 50-acre site near Edinburg, Texas. Two combustion turbines are routed to two heat recovery steam generators, which provide steam to one steam turbine. The construction of the plant was coordinated and managed by Calpine using a contractor.
A portion of the electricity from Magic Valley Generating Station is sold to Magic Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc. under a 20-year contract.
