Enbridge and Plains GP Holdings have purchased Western Midstream's 15% interest in the Cactus II Pipeline for $265 million, with Enbridge acquiring 10% of the pipe and Plains acquiring 5%. After this transaction, Plains and Enbridge are the sole owners of the Cactus II pipeline with 70% and 30% respective ownership. Plains will continue to serve as the operator.

DALLAS, Dec. 19, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Cushing® Asset Management, LP, and Swank Capital, LLC, announce an upcoming interim change to the constituents of The Cushing® Energy Index (the "Index"). The Cushing® 30 MLP Index (the "Sub-Index") announced today that after the market closes on December 27, 2019, and effective on December 30, 2019, Index constituent Tallgrass Energy, LP (NYSE: TGE) will be removed from the Sub-Index and replaced with Plains GP Holdings, L.P. (NYSE: PAGP). Consequently, per the Index's Methodology Guide, after the market closes on December 27, 2019, and effective on December 30, 2019, PAGP will replace TGE in the Index at TGE's then-current weight.
There will be no changes to the remaining constituents of the Index due to this event.

DALLAS, Dec. 19, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Cushing® Asset Management, LP, and Swank Capital, LLC, announce an upcoming interim change to the constituents of The Cushing® 30 MLP Index (the "Index"). On December 17, 2019, Index constituent Tallgrass Energy, LP (NYSE: TGE) announced that, pursuant to a merger agreement with Blackstone Infrastructure Partners, it had agreed not to pay distributions during the pendency of the transactions contemplated by the merger agreement. Per the Index's methodology guide, this distribution cut event will result in a constituent replacement. Accordingly, after the market closes on December 27, 2019, and effective on December 30, 2019, Plains GP Holdings, L.P. (NYSE: PAGP) will replace TGE as a constituent of the Index at TGE's then-current weight.
There will be no changes to the remaining constituents of the Index due to this event.

DALLAS, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Swank Capital, LLC and Cushing® Asset Management, LP announce an upcoming interim rebalance of The Cushing® MLP Market Cap Index (the "Index"). On August 1, 2018, Index constituents Energy Transfer Equity, L.P. (NYSE: ETE) and Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. (NYSE: ETP) announced a merger agreement wherein ETE would acquire ETP, subject to the approval of ETP unitholders. A special meeting of ETP unitholders is scheduled for October 18, 2018, for the purpose of voting on the merger agreement. Per the Index's methodology guide, after the market closes on October 18, 2018, and effective on October 19, 2018, ETP will be removed as a constituent of the Index.
Because ETP is expected to have a weight in the Index in excess of 3.5% at the time of its removal, per the Index's methodology guide, the Index will be rebalanced and all constituent weightings will be adjusted effective on October 19, 2018, as shown below.

The Cushing® MLP Market Cap Index provides a benchmark that is designed to track the performance of widely held midstream energy infrastructure companies, including master limited partnerships (MLPs) and non-MLP midstream corporations (each, a "Midstream Company" and collectively, "Midstream Companies"). The Index is weighted on a float-adjusted market capitalization basis, with the weight of each constituent capped at 7.5% at rebalance. The Index price level is calculated by S&P Dow Jones Indices while the constituents are selected from the entire universe of publicly traded Midstream Companies. The Cushing® MLP Market Cap Index is calculated by S&P Dow Jones Indices and reported on a real-time basis under the Bloomberg ticker "CMCI".

DALLAS, Jan. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Alerian announced today the real-time launch of the Alerian Energy Infrastructure Capital Strength Select Index, a composite of North American midstream, refining, and utility companies chosen for their ownership of pipeline transportation assets, leverage profile, and above-market dividend payments. The index is disseminated real-time on a price-return basis (AMCS) and on a total-return basis (AMCST).
"The AMCS was designed with the understanding that the portion of the North American energy value chain from midstream to distribution has become increasingly integrated," said Alerian President and CEO Kenny Feng. "The composition of this index also seeks to address growing investor focus on strengthening balance sheets and improving corporate governance."
