    AES Indiana secured approval from the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC) to acquire the Hardy Hills 195-MW Solar Project in Clinton County, Indiana. The project is set to begin construction in the fall of 2021 and will come online in 2023. Invenergy is leading the development and construction of the project, after which AES will take over.

    AES Indiana has reached a deal to acquire and construct a 250-MW solar + 180 MWh energy storage project located in Pike County, Indiana. The Petersburg Solar Project is being bought NextEra Energy Resources and still requires regulatory approval. Commercial operations are targeted no later than May 1, 2024.
