Description

In May 1998, Calpine announced that it had entered into a long-term lease agreement with the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe to develop a gas-fired power plant on the tribe's reservation in Mojave County, Arizona. Construction commenced in August 1999 and commercial operation began in June 2001.
