Federal Court Decides Further Impact Study Needed for Dakota Access Pipeline

Federal courts have decided that officials must further study the environmental impacts of the Dakota Access Pipeline as the latest study did not fully evaluate how the pipe would impact local tribes along the route.

The pipe, which went online three years ago, will not have its current operations impacted.
