According to NGI coverage, Kinder Morgan intends to offer U.S. based natural gas storage capacity to Mexico to help address system imbalance and boost flexibility in the country. The plans would include making 4 Bcf in working storage available with 400,000 Dth/d in withdrawal capacity in Phoenix, AZ. That gas would feed into EPNG and an "in-service" date would occur four years following initial contracting.
TGP will also offer up 4 Bcf in storage with 160,000 Dth/d in withdrawal rights at the new TGP Zone 0 pooling point in Edinburg, TX.
Kinder also cited (based on WoodMac data) that they expect U.S. exports to Mexico to rise a further 1.5 Bcf/d by 2023.
