Range Resources reported it will sell ethane volumes in its residue natural gas stream that typically would be transported through the Mariner East pipeline system. The news comes after Sunoco's decision to shut down the pipeline during the month of September to perform optimization work at the Marcus Hook export terminal.

Range Resources updated its 3Q19 average production guidance to 2.22 - 2.23 Bcfe/d from 2.25 - 2.26 Bcfe/d to reflect the increased ethane rejection.
