As we head into 2018, U.S. natural gas production has begun to accelerate upwards due to extensive growth in the Marcellus & Utica Shale. In 2018, Criterion is forecasting that natural gas will rise 6.5 Bcf/d to a fourth quarter average of 83.3 Bcf/d. Criterion believes that many of the trends which were prevalent in 2017 will be mirrored during the new year.
